The Monster Guide in City of Heroes

Here is Mmobread. This topic is main about the guide for Monster in City of Heroes, the information which we got from other site, hope it can help you more or less.

Oozes will split if you use edged weapons(CoH Influence). They also eat up the durability of a weapon very quickly. Be sure to stock a few 1cp Clubs in your bag. They are so cheap you can just discard them after they break.

Though they are not as vicious as Giants, Shamans can be a pain on the higher difficulty settings. The best way to fight a Shaman with melee weapons(CoH Influence) is close the distance between you and the shaman. Once he is in melee range he will try to shoot you with fireballs near as often fireball only occurs on hard/elite difficulty.

To improve this further make sure when you are moving towards the shaman the only place he will have to go is the wall behind him. If you get to close he will most likely jump back and take another shot at you. With a wall behind him, he will not be able to get too far away and he will be forced to deal with your attacks.

Rust Monsters: Rust monsters will destroy all metal weapons. Make sure to carry a club around with you for just such an occasion. Trolls and Ogres: The hardest part of Ogres and Trolls are the ways in which they start their attack. They have an AoE area of effect melee attack that lunges towards you quickly. It is very difficult to sidestep and getting hit with it can take off a chunk of health. To combat this you will want to have a group member pull with a bow spell.

The purpose of the pull is not necessarily to damage the monster but to give your melee teammates a chance to get behind it without taking damage. Once the monster is inbetween you and your teammate it becomes much easier to manage and decreases the chance of your group losing valuable hit points.
